DCC and Shorewall

If that is all that `cdcc info` has to say, how is it related to
firewall problems?  That says only that you are not running a
greylist dccd process.

Did you delete the following lines from /var/dcc/map?:

    # public DCC servers
    dcc1.dcc-servers.net
    dcc2.dcc-servers.net
    dcc3.dcc-servers.net
    dcc4.dcc-servers.net
    dcc5.dcc-servers.net

If so, you can restore them with the following commands

    cdcc add dcc1.dcc-servers.net
    cdcc add dcc2.dcc-servers.net
    cdcc add dcc3.dcc-servers.net
    cdcc add dcc4.dcc-servers.net
    cdcc add dcc5.dcc-servers.net
