How large should dcc_db be?

Installing the current version and removing any -e or -E args. for
dbclean from /var/dcc/dcc_conf should make the database about the size
of RAM on your system, provided you don't have more than 4 GByte or
less than 128 MByte and provided you are not running HP-UX or some
other system that dccd can't ask about available RAM

You need room for dcc_db, dcc_db.hash, dcc_db-old, dcc_db-new, and
dcc_db-new.hash, or a total of about 3 times the sum of the sizes of
dcc_db and dcc_db.hash, or about 3 times the amount of RAM in your system.

Any greylist database files or dccm or dccifd log files are additional.

I'd like to hear if /var/dcc/libexec/updatedcc doesn't install the
current version automagically.
