DCC version 1.2.34

Version 1.2.34 of the DCC source is in
http://www.dcc-servers.net/dcc/source/dccd.tar.Z and
http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/dcc/source/dccd.tar.Z

If your DCC server does not have more than 512 MByte of RAM, you
should seriously consider this version. It automatically adjusts
the default dbclean expirations based on the recent size of the
database and the available RAM. Because automatic changes are more
likely to track changes in the common database or in hardware, it
might be good to try removing -e and -E settings from dcc_conf
if you have added them.

Thanks for the offers to help with www.dcc-servers.net. A big new
blade in a new co-lo slot has appeared, or will appear next week. I
now expect the (virtual) system to disappear Friday (instead of Tues.
night as I feared after the surprise Tues. morning) and reappear next
week. I can cover the weekend with DNS, Apache, and FTP server hackery.

Sam Leffler provided the hardware for z.dcc-servers.net, and
David Holub provided the bandwidth since the system appeared 2 years
ago. Sam was instrumental in finding the replacement after the surprise,
despite an unrelated effort that could not be delayed even minutes.

http://www.dcc-servers.net/dcc/CHANGES starts with:

Fix bugs in the ./configure mechanisms to use poll() instead of
select() on FreeBSD reported by Valentin Chopov.

If you have previously installed 1.2.12 or newer, then
/var/dcc/libexec/updatedcc should make it easy to fetch, build, and
install this version.
The automatically generated /var/dcc/dcc_conf-new might make it easy
to generate a new dcc_conf file for turning on greylisting.
