No, the process was running, but it hadn't logged the usual `listening'
messages.  These were the processes:

I see that dccm was using a lot of CPU time.  After I restarted it,
it's using almost none, which is normal for an idle system.  It must
have been in a loop.

I don't think so.  I haven't changed that file for over a year.
