dccm userdirs and "mailer"

The vpopmail package at www.inter7.com has some fairly reasonable code to
do a bushy tree of directories.

On the other hand, I agree with whoever said that more than one extra
level was a bad idea.  I'd do a straightforward hash of the name mod 100
as the directory name, e.g. blah/47/fred, and figure that if I have more
than 10,000 users, I need a fancier solution with LDAP or a database.
