DCC, SA, amavisd-new and postfix config problem

I am running postfix 2.0.6 (non-chrooted), amavisd-new-20030314-p1,
spamassassin 2.53 and dcc 1.1.36

from my spamassassin local.cf file:

use_dcc 1
dcc_add_header 1

dcc used to work when I was calling SA individually via procmail,
everything just worked. then I switched to global filtering via amavisd-new
with the postfix content_filter statement and now dcc no longer gets used
by SA to add its reports.

I have dccifd running, but amavisd/SA never seems to hand off to dcc for
its checks.

I am talking to the anon servers...

I am sure this is something stupid that I have not done, any one care to
point it out to me?
