DCC server-IDS >1099

It seems several servers in the network are using old /var/dcc/ids
files. With a little luck this week, there will be a bunch of checksums
flooding around with server-IDs greater than 1099. Unless your /var/dcc/ids
file knows about those IDs, your server will reject reports of checksums
of bulk mail seen by those servers. You should see plenty of error
messages in your logs.

The 1.1.16 DCC source in
http://www.dcc-servers.net/dcc/source/dcc-dccd.tar.Z
contains an expanded /var/dcc/ids file.

It would also be good to remove any old placeholder passwords from
/var/dcc/ids. Recent versions of the server understand IDs with
missing passwords as placeholding definitions.

As I've nagged before, it would also be nice to ensure that your
server is at least as new as 1.1.5 so that it does not ignore
reports with long paths.
