dccm statistics

Hi,

I am switching my sendmail log file at midnight using the newsyslog
facility on FreeBSD.  Unfortunately it happens sometimes that dccm's
statitics summary does not show up in the sendmail log file.   

Does anybody know if this is related to the way how newsyslog is
changing log files.  
It would be nice to have a command line option to tell dccm when to
write the statistics information.  Sending a signal to dccm may also be
an option. What do you think Vernon?
