dcc-dccd-1.2.71 make fail with a "Undefined symbol: _res_9_init"

Hi,

I'm trying to compile dcc-dccd-1.2.71 on Mac OS X 10.3.8, but it fail  
with the following error:

dccifd.c: In function `totals_msg':
dccifd.c:568: warning: `%x' yields only last 2 digits of year in some 
locales
cc    dccifd.o ../thrlib/libthr.a ../dcclib/libdcc.a  -lm -o dccifd
ld: Undefined symbols:
_res_9_init
make[1]: *** [dccifd] Error 1

Before make I ran:
	./configure --homedir=~/nix/var/dcc --bindir=~/nix/bin 
--libexecdir=~/nix/libexec --mandir=~/nix/man --disable-server 
--disable-sys-inst --disable-dccifd --disable-dccm
but I get the same error when I just do:
	./configure

I successfully make the 1.2.57, 1.2.62, 1.2.64 and 1.2.69 versions (the 
"warning: `%x' yields only last 2 digits of year in some locales" is 
there too but compilation succeed).

Does someone know how I can correct this error?
