I seem to be having trouble with a nextel address; every time my husband sends e-mail from his pager DCC bounces it. I've tried whitelisting the from: address as nextel.com and as messaging.netxtel.com, both in the DCC whitelist and in sendmail's access database. Could someone offer suggestions as to other configurations I could try? It would be nice to be able to exchange messages with his pager, but DCC is far too useful to give up just for that--if it can't be made to work we'll just have to do without the e-mail pages. The sendmail log lines follow (lines broken artificially for readability): h2VDInNs013780 - - - - - - - Mar 31 08:18:50 yetta sendmail[13780]: h2VDInNs013780: from=<Twoway.9195249014@messaging.nextel.com>, size=286, class=0, nrcpts=1, msgid=<200303311318.h2VDInNs013780@yetta.net>, proto=SMTP, daemon=MTA, relay=atlntap4.adc.nexteldata.net [170.206.252.26] Mar 31 08:18:50 yetta sendmail[13780]: h2VDInNs013780: Milter: data, reject=550 5.7.1 5.7.1. 550 Suspected spam; mail refused.
