Sam Leffler noted that his DCC log file parsing script was broken by my
changes to the DCC log files after 1.0.52. He has suggested a version
number at the start of the file.
Which would be better, changing the DATE line to something like:
DATE: 06/07/02 12:00:38 MDT dccm 1.1.3 file 1.2
or adding an initial line something like:
VERSION: dccm 1.1.3 1.2
Or are there objections to changing the start of the files?
Note that the changes would also apply to files generated by `dccproc -E`
to produce
DATE: 06/07/02 12:00:38 MDT dccproc 1.1.3 file 1.2
or
VERSION: dccproc 1.1.3 1.2
