We have some hand rolled perl script which tries to parse out the sendmail log and calculate some stats. This is for a week (sun-sat), and with reject=many running. Total messages 308335 Total Blocked 132605 43.007 % DCC Rejects 73786 55.643 % RBL Block 25674 19.361 % Banned messages 24232 18.274 % Msg-ID rejects 4777 3.602 % Miscellaneous 3857 2.909 % Relay Attempts 233 0.176 % Unresolvables 46 0.035 % The DCC rejections are quite strong, which is a Good Thing. No complaints about lost mail, and scans of the messages do show an over-abundance of uninteresting mail. Question is, does anyone else figure what is getting rejected on average? tim
