I've released version 1.0.28 of the DCC source. The CHANGES file (see http://www.rhyolite.com/anti-spam/dcc/dcc-tree/CHANGES ) lists several modifications. The two most important are to the FUZ1 checksum and dccm's response to missing Message-ID headers. To resolve variations in what appear to be hard end-of-lines including the results of quoted-printable, the FUZ1 checksum no longer tries to ignore the last line. The only noticable effect of this change will be that until all DCC clients install the new code, the effectiveness of the system will be somewhat reduced. A given unsolicited bulk message seen by some other DCC client might not have the same FUZ1 checksum computed by the local client. Dccm now treats missing Message-ID headers as if they existed but had an empty value. If your mail configuration involves using SMTP to sendmail for the mail submission protocol, so that your mail user agents talk to sendmail with TCP instead of a UNIX pipe, and if you have not white-listed localhost (127.1) and your local IP addresses, you will want to remove any "many message-id <>" lines from your white lists.
