DCC -- how do I effectively use it?

There is yet another possible cause for checksum counts of 1.
I'm running my database with the default expiration parameters including
deleting reports of checksums that are more than a week old and have
counts of less than "many."  Thus, queries of messages older than a week
are likely to be answered with "1"
