In October, 2001, Ron Rule made this objection to the presence of hostronix.com in the Rhyolite Software list of unwelcome domains. That listing exists because of this spam sent to the IETF's main mailing list. Notice that it came from mail.hostronix.com (208.38.149.140).

Judging from Mr. Rule's message, hostronixaffiliates.com, hostronix.com, and visionmultimedia.net are the same organization.
In August, 2002, Ron Rule sent another message. (Because hostronix.com is in the Rhyolite Software list of unwelcome domains, that message was captured in a dccm logdir file.) It is good that Mr. Rule's organization has not been reported to have been involved in sending spam, but that is not a reason to remove entries from the list of domains whose mail is not welcome at rhyolite.com.
