Dean Moore and AAATESTKITS.COM
Dean Moore has made
this objection
to the presence of aaatestkits.com
in the Rhyolite Software
list of unwelcome domains.
That listing exists because of this spam
sent to the IETF's main mailing list.
Please consider this additional
public
record of that spam.

additional
evidence of Mr. Moore's activities.
To answer Mr. Moore's questions and assertions in his
objection:
- People at Rhyolite Software only respond to email that is nominally polite
and from people or organizations that Rhyolite Software cares to hear from.
Mail from almost anyone not associated with the domains
on the Rhyolite Software list of
unwelcome domains
is welcome, but mail from those domains is
likely to be ignored because those domains are, well, not welcome.
- It is not clear that "the proper way to advertise is pay-per-click,"
but at least "pay-per-click" does not necessarily involve theft of service.
- Aaatestkits.com will remain on the Rhyolite Software
list of unwelcome domains until something makes communcations from
aaatestkits.com or Mr. Moore welcome at Rhyolite Software.
Present evidence suggests that won't be soon.
- The point of the Rhyolite Software list of
unwelcome domains
is to prevent additional unwelcome communcations,
and to inform senders at those unwelcome domains why their
messages appear to be ignored.
They are not strictly ignored,
because computers see them even if people don't.
After sendmail (the MTA used here) and dccm,
(a DCC client)
report a message from an unwelcome domain to a DCC server with a
count of "MANY", sendmail discards it.
Reporting unwelcome messages to the DCC ensures that additional
copies will also be rejected unless they come from white-listed sources.
- Whether "vjs" is a "real person or perhaps only a dimwitted(sic)
robotic computer" may be an interesting question,
but additional thoughts on that subject from jdmsite.com or
Aaatestkits.com are likely to be filtered by sendmail and dccm at rhyolite.com.
- Mr. Moore is probably joking about his spam putting people in
hospitals, but that joke suggests he does not understand the nature
of spam and is additional evidence why communications from him
should be unwelcome at Rhyolite Software.
- Rhyolite Software has no interest in helping or hurting
Mr. Moore's business.
It seems unlikely that a public statement of publicly known
facts by an obscure organization such as Rhyolite Software could
have any effect on Mr. Moore's business.
No one at Rhyoltie Software has any standing to have
an opinion on his products or services.
